The Monster Inside
I am the monster that lives in your head
I tell you to hide instead of making your bed
I force you to pull your sister’s hair
When a friend’s about to sit I pull away the chair
Homework’s a no-no when I am around
When dishes need washing we are nowhere to be found
I exasperate parents
I annoy all your teachers
I generate noise
Mostly shouting and screeches
I am the monster that lives in your head
Annoying and naughty I make you see red
I am the monster who has no name
And that’s why it is you who will always be blamed
