TRACY ASTON


Tracy Aston is a playwright. She also works part-time for Liverpool Lunchtime Theatre, helping to develop new writing for the stage.
She was Writer-in-residence for the Year of The Artist Community Radio Playwriting Project with Trilith Rural Media Charity, Dorset (broadcast by BBC Radio Wiltshire) and Short Waves: a Community Radio Playwriting Project for Radio Merseyside (2001).

Workshops and performance

Tracy has led playwriting workshops in primary and secondary schools, including South Wirral High School and Hillside High School in Liverpool.

She completed the Writers' Attachment Scheme in 1999, leading workshops in schools and community venues.

She also runs drama and playmaking projects with schools and youth theatres on Merseyside and beyond.

Tracy works with pupils from Year 6 upwards.
